Panama City, Panama - January 22, 2014. - Copa Airlines, subsidiary of Copa Holdings, SA, {NYSE: CPA} today announced its growth plans for the first half of 2014, including the start of three (3 ) new direct flights from Panama to Montreal, Canada, Fort Lauderdale, USA and Georgetown, Guyana, expanding its aircraft fleet and 10% growth in available seats.
With this growth, the airline strengthens its leadership in the region, from its Hub of the Americas in Panama, offers passengers in Montreal, Fort Lauderdale and Georgetown the fastest and most efficient way to connect with Latin America, providing their passengers more flight options and better opportunities connection with its extensive route network.

Among the plans for 2014, the airline will add to its fleet 8 new Boeing Next Generation 737-800 aircraft, with which will increase its fleet to 98 aircraft next generation technology, and increases by 10% in seat capacity offered .
New destinations:
- Montreal, Canada: Strengthening the network of destinations in northern Europe, Copa Airlines will offer four weekly flights to the city of Montreal, one of the largest in the world, besides being a tourist destination renowned cultural centers. This new flight will operate from June 2 of this year. Montreal is the second Canadian city where the airline operates.
- Fort Lauderdale, USA: Passengers from across the continent will have the option of traveling to the beautiful city of Fort Lauderdale, USA with new flights will initially operate four times a week via the Hub of the Americas from the July 11, 2014. The coastal region of tourism boom and growing Latin American population, will be the fourth destination Cup in the state of Florida.
- Georgetown, Guyana: From July 11, 2014, Copa will offer flights with a frequency of 2 times per week at Georgetown, the capital and largest city of the Cooperative Republic of Guyana.
